Cream Cheese Dip

Cream Cheese Dip

This recipe transforms simple cream cheese into a savory, textured, and highly addictive dip or spread, perfect for bagels, raw vegetables, or crackers.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz block full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature

  • ¼ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt

  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives or green onions

  • 2 tsp minced garlic (or ½ tsp garlic powder)

  • 2 tbsp Paramour Spice Co. "Around Town" Everything Seasoning (plus extra for garnish)

  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice (optional, for brightness)

Instructions

  1. Soften Cream Cheese: Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened. If you're short on time, cut it into cubes and microwave it on low power for 15–20 seconds.

  2. Mix Base: In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer or a sturdy spoon to beat the cream cheese until smooth.

  3. Add Flavor: Add the sour cream/yogurt, chopped chives, minced garlic, and lemon juice (if using). Mix until well combined.

  4. Incorporate Seasoning: Gently fold in the 2 tbsp of "Around Town" Everything Seasoning. Taste and add a pinch of salt if needed (depending on the salt content of the seasoning).

  5. Chill: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the dip to firm up slightly.

  6. Serve: Just before serving, garnish the top of the dip with a light sprinkle of extra "Around Town" Everything Seasoning. Serve with bagel chips, pretzels, carrot sticks, celery, or sliced bell peppers.
