Dessert Topping: Strawberry Shortcake Parfaits

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (optional, depending on berry sweetness)

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 4–6 shortcake biscuits, pound cake slices, or vanilla cake — crumbled

  • 2–4 tbsp Paramour Spice Co. Sweet Dessert Topping

Instructions

  1. Prep the strawberries:
    Toss sliced strawberries with granulated sugar. Let sit 10 minutes to release juices.

  2. Make the whipped cream:
    Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until soft peaks form.

  3. Assemble your layers:
    In parfait glasses or small mason jars:

    • Spoon in a layer of strawberries

    • Add a swirl of whipped cream

    • Sprinkle a layer of cake crumbs

    • Dust with Sweet Dessert Topping
      Repeat until glasses are full, finishing with whipped cream + extra topper for garnish.

  4. Chill & serve:
    Refrigerate 20–30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
