Korean Beef Bowls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or honey

  • 2 tsp Paramour “Spicy Affair”

  • 1 cup shredded carrots

  • 2 green onions, sliced

  • Sesame seeds for garnish

  • Cooked white or brown rice, to serve

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant (~1 min).

  2. Add ground beef and Paramour spice. Cook, breaking apart, until browned (~7-8 min).

  3. Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar; simmer 2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.

  4. Serve over rice, topped with shredded carrots, green onions, and sesame seeds.

Tips

  • For more veggies, add steamed broccoli or snap peas.

  • Swap ground beef with ground turkey or tofu.
