Side Piece Baked Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • 1 ½ cups milk

  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp Side Piece Seasoning (plus extra for topping)

  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

  3. Melt butter in a saucepan; whisk in flour to form a roux.

  4. Slowly add milk, whisking until smooth and thickened.

  5. Stir in cheese + Side Piece Seasoning.

  6. Combine cheese sauce with pasta and transfer to baking dish.

  7. Top with breadcrumbs + a pinch more seasoning.

  8. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden and bubbling.
